
Melina Surya Dewi
Melina Surya Dewi obtained her BA degree from ISI Yogyakarta, S.Pd. in Dance Education from Institut Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Jakarta, and an M.Sc. in Psychology from Universitas Indonesia, as well as a Doctoral Degree in Educational Technology with a concentration in Early Childhood Education at Universitas Negeri Jakarta. She is certified in Therapeutic Play Skills as well as Family Counselor and Mental Health, and actively teaches at the Jakarta Arts Institute (IKJ) at the Graduate School and Faculty of Performing Arts, as well as at Universitas Prasetiya Mulya. At IKJ, Melina served as Deputy Director of Postgraduate and Vice Chancellor for Cooperation, 2009-2013 and 2013-2017, as well as Chair of IKJ Quality Assurance Institute for 2018-2021. She currently serves as Deputy Chairperson of the Jakarta Arts and Culture Foundation for the period 2021-2026. In 1990, she founded the children's dance group Ina Kreativa.
