Dermaga Bincang Tari is a platform for critical choreography dialogs in the form of a virtual symposium. This program is intended to be a space for exchange of ideas for dance and interdisciplinary artists as well as researchers, local or international, whose practices relate to body discourse in the context of the dynamics of contemporary society today.
The topic of discussion is analyzing the process of exchange of perspectives in gazing at the Borobudur temple between choreographers and mathematicians involved in the Layar Terkembang Mandala Bodies series.

Billowing Sails 2021 Mandala Bodies series
A series of inaugural programs leading up to the 30th anniversary of the IDF festival in 2022. This program is a cross-disciplinary experimentation that places dance and ethnomathematics into a dialogue, responding to the Borobudur temple. The foundation of this program is the research “Ethnomathematics: Exploration of Borobudur Temple” by three ethnomathematical researchers; Dedi Muhtadi and Rahmi Nur Fitria Utami from Siliwangi University, Tasikmalaya, and Sukirwan from Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, Serang.
