La XXX Punk is a series through which Fangas Nayaw searches for how Indigenous dance can be in the future. It will be different, and must be different, because we are fed up with how popular imagination of Indigenous dance is limited to certain selected highlights and images.
Every part of the La XXX Punk series starts with a manifesto. Betel Nut Green is the second part of the series.
The vivid underneath is quietly disappearing.
The land is hill green, tree green.
Green like the park. Green screen green.
