Departing from Fitri’s bodily experience on Mount Bromo (East Java) and Mount Padang (West Java), Garis Tegak Lurus is a dance body work that crosses spiritual practices at right angles to the baseline. It shows a straight line or direction upwards or up to the peak. Then, associating itself with layers of perpendicular objects stacked on top of each other with a fixed layer height. This work wants to jointly draw the individual void of emptiness towards the layered universe. Sparking contemplation about the essence of the relationship between humans, nature, and the creator.
