Fragile, dented, yet always noisy—KALENG ROMBENG! celebrates vulnerability, memory, and lived experience from a marginalized perspective. The work stems from Adrian’s personal recollections of fear, stereotypes, and experiences that leave invisible marks.
Adrian is a Jakarta-based choreographer and dancer who draws upon Waacking and Voguing to develop his choreographic language within contemporary practice. Grounded in musicality, expression, and visual power, he creates works that bring the body into dialogue with personal narratives, vulnerability, humor, and queer experiences.
