What knowledge does the body carry, and how might it be shared, remembered, and transformed through movement?

Continuing an encounter that began at Tanztriennale in Hamburg in June 2026, Sina Saberi and Mang Tri Ray Dewantara reunite in Jakarta to explore each other’s artistic practices. Through shared studio time, they will deepen their exchange, allowing their different approaches and the local context to shape their process.

This workshop invites participants into an ongoing process of inquiry. Working through exploration of embodied knowledge, memory, and transmission. Through movement and experimentation, participants will discover connections between their own practices and those of others, while remaining open to unexpected encounters and new possibilities.

Venue: Ruang Latihan Tari Tradisi, Taman Ismail Marzuki
