Dermaga Bincang Tari is a platform for critical choreography dialogs in the form of a virtual symposium. This program is intended to be a space for exchange of ideas for dance and interdisciplinary artists as well as researchers, local or international, whose practices relate to body discourse in the context of the dynamics of contemporary society today.
Otniel Tasman, a choreographer deeply rooted in Javanese traditions, especially Banyumas, his hometown. He explores the Banyumas Lengger Tradition as his mother tongue, which gives him the experiences to understand life and inspires him to create dance works that explore gender identity.
