In this class, Olé will share his techniques, vocabulary, working methods and creative process to explore participants’ own artistic research. Olé will then transmit techniques and movements of the different techniques that forge his dance and on their marriage which singles out his vocabulary.
Created in 2020 in France, this 30-minute performance is designed to be performed in situ –recreated in each location by involving more local performances and showcasing their skills, within both hip-hop or contemporary movement vocabularies.
Born in Laos, grew up in France, and discovered hip-hop dance in 1990. He trained with various choreographers in France, then returned to Laos and Thailand which deepened his choreographic language. In 2010, Ole initiated, FANG MAE KHONG (Listen to the Mekong), Laos’ first international dance festival.
