In this class, Olé will share his techniques, vocabulary, working methods and creative process to explore participants’ own artistic research. The warm-up for the participants resumes the exercises that the choreographer works himself as a preparation of the body and the corporeality of his dance, which begins the work of artistic research. Olé will then transmit techniques and movements of the different techniques that forge his dance (hip hop, contemporary and traditional from South East Asia) and on their marriage which singles out his vocabulary. Through different technical exercises and moments of improvisation, he offers an experimental approach to the states of the body and the energies that he explores and his working methods to create from his own vocabulary. The workshop will close with a group composition created by the participants from materials explored together.
