Soy Chanborey

Soy Chanborey is a Cambodian dancer, choreographer, and artistic director whose practice bridges contemporary dance and Cambodian traditional mask dance. He began his career with Amrita Performing Arts in 2012 and later toured nationally and internationally with the Royal Ballet of Cambodia under the direction of HRH Norodom Buppha Devi (2014–2018).

In 2019, Chanborey founded CHANBOREY_Dance in Phnom Penh, bringing together young Cambodian artists and supporting artistic research and creative development. In 2026, he completed his contemporary dance solo Pak Din through Cambodian Living Arts’ Chakto Program.
