
Maharani Pane
Maharani Pane is a dancer and choreographer from Jakarta, Indonesia. She graduated from the Jakarta Arts Institute (IKJ) Faculty of Performing Arts, majoring in Dance. Her artistic practice is oriented on combining elements from various art and media disciplines such as theater, installation art, and visual mapping. One of her works, which combined lighting installations and dance, entitled "Vertical Limit" (2018) won the Art Grant for Innovative Works from Kelola Foundation, and the Pitchpad Borak Art Series at the OzAsia Festival in Adelaide, Australia. Pane is currently working on a new project that explores her empirical experiences of dream research. She is also trying to explore new possibilities in the interface of technology and choreography, which she calls “Technography”.
