IDF 2022 Opening Night is an opportunity to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the festival. Within 7 days, the festival will host 7 evening performances, 6 Kampana performances, 8 workshops, 4 Dance Talks, Vasana Tari archive exhibition, and Lokapasar – a retail area for Indonesian products and IDF limited edition merchandise in collaboration with local communities.
The event marks the start of IDF’s return as South East Asia’s longest-running dance festival in the physical presence of dance practitioners and enthusiasts, after the online-exclusive festival edition in 2020, an effort to adapt with the global pandemic.
