Wayan Sumahardika

Wayan Sumahardika is a writer, director, and theatermaker born in Denpasar, 1992. His artistic practices move in the intersection between dance, film, and artistic creations to measure the relationship of performance watching experience and daily reality through archivistic-repertoar and speculative approach. Suma is active as the artistic director of Mulawali Institute and initiated B-PART (Bali Performing Arts Meeting). His works and artistic research have been presented in several programs including Kurasi Lelakon Indonesia Kalabuku; Tukar Tangkap Koreografi Indonesia Jakarta Arts Council and Yayasan Kelola; OpenLab Teater Garasi; Artjog Weekly Performance Explanatory; Koreografer Muda Potensial Indonesian Dance Festival; Pekan Kebudayaan Nasional; Ubud Writers & Readers Festival; International Symposium Performing Art Ecosystem; and Indonesia Bertutur.
