Josh Marcy

Dance artist whose artistic practice revolves around the critical reading of “what is the body” and “what is space”, as well as how the dialogue between these two ideas shape reality. Since 2018, he has worked as a collaborator in two works by German choreographer Isabelle Schad, staged at Tanzplattform Deutschland 2020. Josh completed his master's studies at the 2018 Jakarta Arts Institute (IKJ) postgraduate program in Urban Art. Josh is currently the head of the Dance Committee of the Jakarta Arts Council, serving for the 2023-2026 period.
