
John Ogleeve
Theatre artist engaged in noh as a practitioner and researcher. He is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Hawaii where he is researching nohgaku performers outside the noh world and on international stages. He is a founding member and current Development Director of Theatre Nohgaku, for whom he has worked extensively both onstage and off. He has worked with Richard Foreman, Bread and Puppet, as well as being a founding member of the now defunct GAle GAtes et al. As a noh consultant, he has worked with The Wooster Group, director/choreographer David Neumann, composer Brendan Connelly, and Yoji Sakate’s Rinkogun among others.
