SUMMARY:KRUMP: Giving & Receiving
DESCRIPTION:This workshop invites participants to explore Krump as a practice of giving\, receiving and connection. Rooted in movement\, emotion and presence\, we will explore how energy is offered\, shared and received through the body. \nIn Krump\, the dancer never moves alone. The energy of the room—the reactions\, sounds\, and hype of those around them—can feed the dancer\, who responds through movement\, emotion\, and expression. This creates a constant dialogue — a form of communication without words. Through foundational Krump vocabulary\, freestyle\, and improvisation\, participants will explore how to give without holding back\, receive without judgment\, and remain open and present. \nVenue: Ruang Latihan Tari Kontemporer\, Taman Ismail Marzuki \nBook Your SeatVirginia “Aura” LewerissaVirginia “Aura” Lewerissa is a Hamburg-based creative artist\, Krump dancer and choreographer with roots in Maluku\, Indonesia. With over 15 years in the Krump community\, she is an internationally recognized and influential female Krumper. Read more
